Administrative Coordinator
TCF Recipient

1. What inspired you to join the TCF team?

I recognized that talking with other people about their educational goals excites me. I often find myself sharing information and resources that will assist people along their educational journey and felt that being a part of the TCF team is the ideal place to do this. As a TCF recipient, it is also a way for me to give back some of the support that I received.

2.What is your greatest accomplishment?

I would have to say my greatest accomplishment has been being a mother to four wonderful children and two beautiful grandchildren. Another great accomplishment has been achieving an AAS in Human Services and completing a BA in Counseling Psychology in 2016 because it has taken years of hard work, overcoming obstacles and the refusal to give up on my educational goals. I have already begun to explore continuing education opportunities like a graduate certificate program or possibly even a Master’s degree program.

3. What advice do you have for TCF recipients?

Don’t be afraid to ask for help, never give up on your educational goals, and celebrate milestones along the way.
