TCF funded my principal program and when they asked me to serve, I was delighted for two reasons – I was honored that they asked me, and I appreciated the opportunity to give back to TCF and our greater community. Aquaponics (fish and edible plants growing in harmony) and animal rescue are my passions.  Both relate to growing and nurturing living beings where together we create a small ecosphere of kindness and love.

“Stay in school no matter what obstacles you face.  Academics are only a small part of the college experience.  I was not successful my first year of college but I kept trying and learned how to maneuver the college system.  Part of that success is connecting with other Alaska Native graduates who can give guidance and support.  Hold in your heart and your mind that you are successful and you will be successful.”[/person]
